Professional, knowledgeable compassionate, you can tell Dr.Kamal LIKES what he does! Unlike many Dentists who show little to no compassion and admonish you for poor dental care, without knowing reason s ,be it dental mistreatment,financial or time constraints Dr.Kamal and staff are very understanding and efficient ! Highly recommend this Dentist even or especially if you have had bad experiences as you will find it refreshing to be with people who care!

I wasted months trying to find a professional that would work with my medical assistance insurance company so i could get partials plate dentures. I lost my back teeth when i had Lyme disease. Dr. Kamal and his team provided me with the partials, using 3d technology, and i cannot believe how comfortable and effective the partials are. All the staff are so considerate and professional. I've been here multiple times, today I went and had some more cavities filled, my tooth needs to be filled down some more because my bite is off, but I couldn't tell because of the numbness but they did there best as to what I could feel, but overall, he has never judged my teeth in any way, he's always welcoming us in and asks how we are feeling! I'm very happy that he hasn't judged me like the previous dentist I have been too, that's why I was scared to go to a dentist but this dentist changed my view and that it's time to get the work done! He takes his time fixing your teeth and also makes sure he can try and keep any tooth that has pretty bad cavities. I definitely recommend artisan dental! All the workers there are super nice! They will take good care of you when you're there! Thanks Dr. Ahmed, for caring for me and my moms teeth!

I need to express that the doctor and his techs performance was always exemplary. However, the scheduling staff consistently made appointments a stress-point for me. *Four (4) times* in the few years I'd been going to them, they adjusted my appointment timing (by up to 2 hours on one occasion), and then they proceeded to gaslight me that it had always been that time (even though I specifically put it into my phone's calendar when setting it the first place). This would screw me over & leave me scrambling, as I have to leave work for these appointments. If you want an excellent doctor and hygienists, and you have a more flexible schedule, these guys are great. If, however, you're like me and you have a tight schedule & have to take time off work to go, be warned, and maybe try somewhere else.

Nice reception and best of everything. This was my first dental visit...and when I say 1st I mean it...never been to a dentist my entire life (25+yrs)...so this visit was kinda scary for me. It got me even more worried because Dr.Kamal told me, I had to have my 2 wisdom teeth extracted....damn! I almost lost it...I actually lost it...😭😭...but thanks to the wonderful dentists in this place, everything turned out great. Dr.Kamal is simply the best....he did the extraction gently and i felt no pain at all.., the female dentists/nurses were very awesome as well...they helped to calm me down and that was so thoughtful of them. It's 3 days post-op and I'm doing absolutely great. My son goes to these same dentists and he likes the place too...his visit was the 1st one as well and he did great, thanks to the great dentists of Artisan dental. Will highly recommend Artisan Dental.

Me, my wife, & my son just switched to Artisan Dental. I wish I did the switch 16 years ago. From the moment I called and Lynette answered she and Navara worked so hard to schedule all three of us in just one day. All of the hygienists are great, I am a huge gagger and Maryam was so patient with me. I can tell that she went out of her way to prevent triggering my reflux. This place is a gem!!! I highly recommend this dental office to you and your family! *UPDATE* I just had a follow-up visit with Doctor Ahmed for a filling and he and his assistant was so patient with me. As I mentioned before I am a huge gagger and I know this is a big inconvenience to both his assistant and the dentist. He never once made me feel that it is my fault and he gave me so much time to relax when my reflux was triggered. He even allowed me to control the suction on my own because it was easier for me to not gag. Seriously I will be recommending Dr. Ahmed and his team to all of my friends and family! Thanks a million!!!

I had such a great experience at Artisan Dental, Plymouth! I went in for pain from wisdom teeth and I can not emphasize how pleasant the entire staff was! Greeted with such friendly staff upon entrance, dental assistants all made me feel comfortable and at ease about what would happen, answered all of my questions and concerns, provided quick X-rays. Then had scheduled to have my wisdom teeth removed the following day. The dentist literally had them taken out in less than 5 minutes with no anesthesia and no pain. I was so surprised at how quick the process was. Followed the instructions of the dentist and the dental assistants and literally had no pain following up as I healed. It couldn’t have gone more quick and pain-free! I am so appreciative of the entire staff of Artisan Dental! I would highly recommend this place for adults and children alike! I intend to go back for potential Invisalign consultation next! Considering the initial anxiety I had about my (first time) wisdom teeth removal, couldn’t be more thankful of everyone who works at Artisan Dental for how pleasant they made my two visits! This dental clinic is by far the best I have been too. I have limited options with my insurance. They have always gotten me in quickly. Explained what they were doing and have given me the best options. Today, they went above any beyond. Thought I was getting a quick look at something that I had done 4 months ago, and it turned into amazing news. Tooth filled I thought would need pulled as a previous dental office said I would. Also, had another tooth pulled and didn’t feel a thing. They also fitted me for other things and today, I feel like I am walking away no longer going to be ashamed of smiling as I will have a mouth restored! Highly recommend this clinic!

I went in to get a root canal because my dentist was booked. I was able to get in right away and found out I didn't need a root canal. It was the back molar and it was cracked, so I had to have it pulled. I have had issues with other dentists and anxiety attacks but Dr. Ahmed was very respectful, explained everything well and the extraction did not hurt at all. I was very impressed with the whole staff.

I have been coming to Artisan Dental for about 2 years now. I have had cavities, gum cleaning, root canals, and teeth removed. Everything that's been done has been the most personable, calm environment than any other dentist I've been to including as a kid. But with the way things are at the moment most dental offices are doing emergency work only. Dr. Ahmed got me in right away for a root canal and crown. I was in the worst pain and walked out feeling so much better. Dr. Ahmed, his wife Navera, Lisa and the whole staff are so professional, friendly, and calm. I'm here to stay! 🙂

During this crazy time with the virus happening, I had part of a filling come out. Since it was on a front tooth, they let me come in as an emergency visit. (when others didn't consider me an emergency) They got me right in, were very nice and fixed me up. I'm grateful because my regular dentist wouldn't take me, and the fix only took about 15 minutes. I have done one crown some where else and have five crowns here. The crown done here are beautiful. The final results of my dental crowns (top front fout teeths) are amazing! I arrived at Artisan Dental after being turned away from many dental clinics due to the insurance I carry. I called Artisan and they were happy to take me as a new patient. I came to them with an infected front tooth that needed to be extracted asap. I was nervous since I had never been to their clinic before and it was such a visible and involved treatment. However, everyone in the office made me feel so welcomed that my fears were soon put to rest. At my first appointment, Dr. Kamal walked me through the procedures that I would need as well as a timeline. He was very compassionate and easy going. You can tell that he cares about his patients (even new ones) and that he operates his dental practice with a long-term view of the doctor/patient relationship. This was especially evident when he needed an extra x-ray to decide between two treatment options and he told me before the x-ray that there would not be an extra charge for it. After the initial consultation, Dr. Kamal was able to get me in for the extraction appointment extremely fast. The extraction went well. He did a great job! A few days after the extraction, I started to have moderate pain and was concerned that I was not healing correctly. Dr. Kamal was able to see me the same day that I called! I am very thankful that I have found this dental office! It makes a big difference to know you are in the hands of a capable dentist who also cares about his patients and wants to have a long-term relationship with them. Update 2/24/17: My whole family now goes here including our 3 year old. There is a kids area for coloring and they gave my daughter fun little stickers and a small toy after her checkup. Dr. Kamal did a great job taking away our daughter's fear of the checkup. She even had a fun time! The whole staff is really good with children. In summary, this is a really great clinic for adults AND children. Highly recommended.

Every time I walk in the front desk girls welcome me with big smiles on there faces. They are also very helpful and understanding. Dr.Kamal is a great dentist! I got 2 crowns and they look like my real teeth. Shade was exactly the color of my teeth they did an amazing job picking the color. The rest of the staff was amazing as well. They made sure I was comfortable and relaxed. I would recommend this office to anyone!!

The best experience I've had at the dentist! The assistants and hygentists are very helpful and have a wonderful inviting attitude. The doctor did an amazing job on my fillings. Normally when I bite down I can feel an unevenness until it eventually wears down. But this doctor made it so I couldn't even feel a difference when I left. I would recommend this dentist to anyone looking for QUALITY dental work unlike your everyday provider. The office was also very clean and ready to go so there was hardly any waiting time!

I wasted months trying to find a professional that would work with my medical assistance insurance company so i could get partials plate dentures. I lost my back teeth when i had Lyme disease. Dr. Kamal and his team provided me with the partials, using 3d technology, and i cannot believe how comfortable and effective the partials are. All the staff are so considerate and professional. I've been here multiple times, today I went and had some more cavities filled, my tooth needs to be filled down some more because my bite is off, but I couldn't tell because of the numbness but they did there best as to what I could feel, but overall, he has never judged my teeth in any way, he's always welcoming us in and asks how we are feeling! I'm very happy that he hasn't judged me like the previous dentist I have been too, that's why I was scared to go to a dentist but this dentist changed my view and that it's time to get the work done! He takes his time fixing your teeth and also makes sure he can try and keep any tooth that has pretty bad cavities. I definitely recommend artisan dental! All the workers there are super nice! They will take good care of you when you're there! Thanks Dr. Ahmed, for caring for me and my moms teeth!

I felt like my visit was welcoming. The woman at the front desk had a very soft demeanor and she made me feel like she understood my situation. I can tell she's used to speaking with the public. The dentist was very kind and he smiled and said he was happy to meet me. The dental tech, she was very kind also and I felt like her cleaning of my teeth was very thorough. I need to express that the doctor and his techs performance was always exemplary. However, the scheduling staff consistently made appointments a stress-point for me. *Four (4) times* in the few years I'd been going to them, they adjusted my appointment timing (by up to 2 hours on one occasion), and then they proceeded to gaslight me that it had always been that time (even though I specifically put it into my phone's calendar when setting it the first place). This would screw me over & leave me scrambling, as I have to leave work for these appointments. If you want an excellent doctor and hygienists, and you have a more flexible schedule, these guys are great. If, however, you're like me and you have a tight schedule & have to take time off work to go, be warned, and maybe try somewhere else.
A+ Always! I drive 3 hours just to remain under there care, never been more proud of my teeth.

Went in for a cleaning and I also had an exam. They found a few issues and we scheduled an appointment to take care of them and I was also given a prescription for toothpaste to also help those issues.
Nice reception and best of everything. This was my first dental visit...and when I say 1st I mean it...never been to a dentist my entire life (25+yrs)...so this visit was kinda scary for me. It got me even more worried because Dr.Kamal told me, I had to have my 2 wisdom teeth extracted....damn! I almost lost it...I actually lost it...😭😭...but thanks to the wonderful dentists in this place, everything turned out great. Dr.Kamal is simply the best....he did the extraction gently and i felt no pain at all.., the female dentists/nurses were very awesome as well...they helped to calm me down and that was so thoughtful of them. It's 3 days post-op and I'm doing absolutely great. My son goes to these same dentists and he likes the place too...his visit was the 1st one as well and he did great, thanks to the great dentists of Artisan dental. Will highly recommend Artisan Dental.

Me, my wife, & my son just switched to Artisan Dental. I wish I did the switch 16 years ago. From the moment I called and Lynette answered she and Navara worked so hard to schedule all three of us in just one day. All of the hygienists are great, I am a huge gagger and Maryam was so patient with me. I can tell that she went out of her way to prevent triggering my reflux. This place is a gem!!! I highly recommend this dental office to you and your family! *UPDATE* I just had a follow-up visit with Doctor Ahmed for a filling and he and his assistant was so patient with me. As I mentioned before I am a huge gagger and I know this is a big inconvenience to both his assistant and the dentist. He never once made me feel that it is my fault and he gave me so much time to relax when my reflux was triggered. He even allowed me to control the suction on my own because it was easier for me to not gag. Seriously I will be recommending Dr. Ahmed and his team to all of my friends and family! Thanks a million!!!

I had such a great experience at Artisan Dental, Plymouth! I went in for pain from wisdom teeth and I can not emphasize how pleasant the entire staff was! Greeted with such friendly staff upon entrance, dental assistants all made me feel comfortable and at ease about what would happen, answered all of my questions and concerns, provided quick X-rays. Then had scheduled to have my wisdom teeth removed the following day. The dentist literally had them taken out in less than 5 minutes with no anesthesia and no pain. I was so surprised at how quick the process was. Followed the instructions of the dentist and the dental assistants and literally had no pain following up as I healed. It couldn’t have gone more quick and pain-free! I am so appreciative of the entire staff of Artisan Dental! I would highly recommend this place for adults and children alike! I intend to go back for potential Invisalign consultation next! Considering the initial anxiety I had about my (first time) wisdom teeth removal, couldn’t be more thankful of everyone who works at Artisan Dental for how pleasant they made my two visits! This dental clinic is by far the best I have been too. I have limited options with my insurance. They have always gotten me in quickly. Explained what they were doing and have given me the best options. Today, they went above any beyond. Thought I was getting a quick look at something that I had done 4 months ago, and it turned into amazing news. Tooth filled I thought would need pulled as a previous dental office said I would. Also, had another tooth pulled and didn’t feel a thing. They also fitted me for other things and today, I feel like I am walking away no longer going to be ashamed of smiling as I will have a mouth restored! Highly recommend this clinic!

Phenomenal staff, got my top two wisdom teeth pulled last year and didn’t feel a thing. Bottom two just started to hurt and they got me in within a couple days to get them out. Highly recommend here, they’ll take great care of you!!
I went in to get a root canal because my dentist was booked. I was able to get in right away and found out I didn't need a root canal. It was the back molar and it was cracked, so I had to have it pulled. I have had issues with other dentists and anxiety attacks but Dr. Ahmed was very respectful, explained everything well and the extraction did not hurt at all. I was very impressed with the whole staff.

This place has been excellent for me and my family. Dr.kamal is doing super hero job for my implant, I got 2 implant installed and everything is quick and less painful. So far great experience with Dr.kamal. Look forward to go back for next implant.
I love this doctor. He is the kindest, and works so gently with your mouth and teeth ; does everything to make you comfortable; doesn’t make you feel he’s rushing you. No pain! And I’m usually very anxious about going to the dentist. Today I didn’t even need novocaine and there was no discomfort or pain at all! I’ve been going here about 10 years. He’s the best!

I have been coming to Artisan Dental for about 2 years now. I have had cavities, gum cleaning, root canals, and teeth removed. Everything that's been done has been the most personable, calm environment than any other dentist I've been to including as a kid. But with the way things are at the moment most dental offices are doing emergency work only. Dr. Ahmed got me in right away for a root canal and crown. I was in the worst pain and walked out feeling so much better. Dr. Ahmed, his wife Navera, Lisa and the whole staff are so professional, friendly, and calm. I'm here to stay! 🙂
I have been going to Artisan for many years. Being someone who is not a fan of going to the dentist, I highly recommend this place. Especially if you have an abnormal fear of dental work, like me! Dr. Kamal and his staff are amazing! Lisa is definitely a go-to for all your clinic and billing questions. She is super nice and very knowledgeable! Dental emergency - no problem! They will work you in AND follow up with you to ensure your comfort following your procedure. I could go on and on but I have a giant list of great things to say and honestly, zero complaints. This is a great dental office!
During this crazy time with the virus happening, I had part of a filling come out. Since it was on a front tooth, they let me come in as an emergency visit. (when others didn't consider me an emergency) They got me right in, were very nice and fixed me up. I'm grateful because my regular dentist wouldn't take me, and the fix only took about 15 minutes. Very impressed. May even consider switching to Artisan dental as my regular dentist.
I'm so grateful that I was able to get in for an emergency tooth pain visit today. Dr. Kamal explained what needed to be done, prescribed antibiotics to prepare for the necessary procedure.
I’ve been seeing this dental office for a couple years now. I just want to say how wonderful Lisa and the front desk staff is. Every single time I call, they’re VERY sweet. I’ve been so A LOT of dentists/doctors and their front desk is probably the best I’ve encountered. This place was so awesome! The receptionist got me checked in right away and answered all of my immediate questions. She also called my insurance and got everything taken care of for me! The hygienist was very attentive and knew exactly what she was doing and my dentist was knowledgeable and helped me come up with a plan to fix my pesky little cavities right away! I would recommend for EVERYONE I know to come here I loved it!!

Dr. Kamal has been my dentist for nine or ten years. He’s fast and efficient, caring, personable. I can really tell his staff Love what they do, it shows. Just recently they added t.v’s and we watched the cooking channel during the appointment. Limited to no waiting time. Just go there it’s fun!

I recently started going to Artisan Dental and have had an amazing expierence with all staff members in the building. I can't overstate how impressed I am. I went in for severe tooth pain, and the Dr was able to save my tooth without needing a root canal or removal! He did a great job with the work too, being very considerate to my sensitivity and pain. The finished work feels great, my tooth doesn't bother me at all now!

I had another Implant and crown done today since I had great experience with Implant last year. PAINLESS! I didn't even had to take any pain medication after the treatment that Doctor prescribed. I'm really happy to say that I made the choice to go with this dentist and trust him. I have an open bite and multiple teeth that needed crowns. I have done one crown some where else and have five crowns here. The crown done here are beautiful. The final results of my dental crowns (top front fout teeths) are amazing! I feel like I can finally smile my natural smile, before I always have to make sure I smile enough only to cover my underbite.
I got a cleaning and exam done here and I'm pretty sure I found my new dentist. Dr. Kamal was gentle and talked me through the procedure and was nothing but helpful and kind. He even had some funny stories that he shared with me that made me laugh. I love how family oriented this place is and the atmosphere is enough to calm the nerves if you have dental anxiety. I even got a whitening treatment done and the staff would check up on me every 5 minutes to see if I was doing okay. They made sure that I was comfortable throughout my whole treatment, no matter what I was there for. I would highly recommend this office.

My husband received a dental consult and x-rays for a painful wisdom tooth, which ended up needing an extraction. Thankful they were able to do everything in one visit for us. I came in to get my wisdom tooth removed. And also to check on the rest of my teeth, since I hadn't been to a dentist for a while. After I had my x rays done, Dr. Kamal pointed out on my problem teeth and explained what needs to be done to keep them healthy. I followed his advises and I'm very happy with the result. Dr. Kamal is very professional and approachable. Also everybody else in the office is friendly and helpful. I will highly recommend Dr. Kamal and his team to all my friends and family.
I arrived at Artisan Dental after being turned away from many dental clinics due to the insurance I carry. I called Artisan and they were happy to take me as a new patient. I came to them with an infected front tooth that needed to be extracted asap. I was nervous since I had never been to their clinic before and it was such a visible and involved treatment. However, everyone in the office made me feel so welcomed that my fears were soon put to rest. At my first appointment, Dr. Kamal walked me through the procedures that I would need as well as a timeline. He was very compassionate and easy going. You can tell that he cares about his patients (even new ones) and that he operates his dental practice with a long-term view of the doctor/patient relationship. This was especially evident when he needed an extra x-ray to decide between two treatment options and he told me before the x-ray that there would not be an extra charge for it. After the initial consultation, Dr. Kamal was able to get me in for the extraction appointment extremely fast. The extraction went well. He did a great job! A few days after the extraction, I started to have moderate pain and was concerned that I was not healing correctly. Dr. Kamal was able to see me the same day that I called! I am very thankful that I have found this dental office! It makes a big difference to know you are in the hands of a capable dentist who also cares about his patients and wants to have a long-term relationship with them. Update 2/24/17: My whole family now goes here including our 3 year old. There is a kids area for coloring and they gave my daughter fun little stickers and a small toy after her checkup. Dr. Kamal did a great job taking away our daughter's fear of the checkup. She even had a fun time! The whole staff is really good with children. In summary, this is a really great clinic for adults AND children. Highly recommended.

It was the first time I have ever had to get really major work done, and I was pretty scared. In a rush, needing to get in urgently..etc. Dr. .Kamal and hygienist were both really welcoming and did amazing work. I'm relieved to have found a good office- I've had less than desirable experiences elsewhere. You're in good hands 🙂

I had my bottom two wisdom teeth extracted and I was pretty scared of the process, but I felt eased as he and his staff explained everything they would be doing. I have had great experiences with him and his staff.

Let me start off by saying Artisan Dental is the best place to go for anything. Dr. Kamal Ahmed is the best. I got my invisalign done at Artisan Dental after being turned down at so many places. I hadn't been to the dentist for over 6 years when I visited Dr. Kamal. His entire practice did a wonderful job of easing my anxiety and explaining the whole process step by step. My worst fear of going to the dentist twice a year is the teeth cleaning procedure. Just the thought of the drill makes me cringe and sends shivers down my spine. Although, I've only been to Artisan Dental once for a cleaning, my experience was drama free. The technician took her time and did not aggressively force the drill bit into my teeth and those hard to reach places. Typically, a cleaning for me seems endless, but this time it was quick and relaxing. I'm definitely returning and so is my family. Great staff and very friendly atmosphere. I highly recommend Artisan Dental.

The best experience I've had at the dentist! The assistants and hygentists are very helpful and have a wonderful inviting attitude. The doctor did an amazing job on my fillings. Normally when I bite down I can feel an unevenness until it eventually wears down. But this doctor made it so I couldn't even feel a difference when I left. Any time there are options for treatment, everything is presented and a clear and well laid out manner. The recommendations are always for what makes the most sense and not the option that costs the most.

I went to Dr Kamal with a small cavity that needed a filling. He suggested also doing a crown on a very visible canine, which had been embarrassing me for some time. The work is now in progress and I'm looking forward to a future of beautiful smiles! His assistant, Anita, was professional and very considerate.
Dr. Kamal and his staff do an excellent job, are professional, and friendly. I really appreciate all of the ways they communicate and help by giving reminders on upcoming appointments, work with you on payments and always do an excellent job making you feel comfortable and safe while working on your teeth!
